John Heald, Carnival’s Senior Cruise Director, has been a staple on the “Fun Ships” for over 20 years. When the latest Carnival “Fun Ship”, Carnival Freedom, was launched in March, 2007, Heald started a blog to give some insight into a-day-in-the-life of a cruise director. With a total of over 1.7 million hits, what was originally a one month project has turned into a phenomenon.
