Freedom of Size -
The goal of the group hosting this
cruise is to help break down social barriers regarding the Big
and Beautiful. According to their website, "We want to let
people know that being big is not a bad thing and we want
individuals to stop feeling shy! Traveling is fun. Our
size doesn't determine what we do or how we enjoy our vacation.
We encourage you, regardless of size, to explore the world."
The hosts say they will answer any
concerns and assure you will be traveling with individuals
involved in the size acceptance community. The site goes
on to say, "The Cruise Lines are very fat friendly and the staff
is awesome. You'll find yourself shopping for bathing suits,
formal wear, resort wear, and feeling awesome simply by being
YOU.
You should not wait till you loose 50 lbs to travel or to buy
that bathing suit. Obsession with diets before travel is common
in a world where diets are shoved down our throats constantly.
After all, it's a billion dollar industry. Being overweight
doesn't mean being unhealthy. You can make better choices
when eating and add low impact activities to your life.
Don't plan your life and future depending on if you loose
weight. Take charge of your dreams and desires NOW."
